(Late) 2 1/2 Year Old Checkup

This cute boy, Cameron Scott Connor had his 2 1/2 year old checkup appointment yesterday! He turned 2 1/2 in July, but yesterday was the soonest he could get in. This blog, really has no point or purpose, but I wanted to share something that surprised me. At the appointments they always check their height, weight, and head circumfrence and then tell you what percentile they fall into. I never thought Cameron was short, or overweight.... however, apparantly he is! haha! He fell into only the 30th percentile for height, and the 75th percentile for weight! ok ok, if he is in the percentile, he is ok, but I thought it was funny.

Big Boy Swim Lessons

Cameron has moved on up with his swim lessons! For the last few months we have been doing 'mommy and me' swim class. That class is for kids 3 and under and a parent goes in the water with them, sings silly songs, play the hokey pokey, etc! He did such a great job in that class, that he has been moved up to 1A! This means I don't have to go in the water with him anymore. I took some pictures, but they didn't come out very well. Tomorrow will be his second class. Hooray for Cameron!!

Cameron's First 49er Game

Pre-game!!

I love him soooo much!!

TOUCHDOWN 49ers!!

Oh no... the 49ers fumbled AGAIN!!

Learning from Papa!!

On Sunday Cameron experienced his first 49er game! Yes, they lost to Arizona. For a while I thought they had a chance to win but they made so many silly mistakes. My family has had season tickets to the niners for about 28 years. I have grown up following them and will remain a faithful fan always. Cameron loves watching football at home, but he was pretty scared at the game. He cried and said it was too loud and scary. Oh well, maybe next year he will enjoy it more! Regardless, I'm glad he got to experience his first live football game!

49er faithful! :)

SHINGO AND I AT THE SLOW FOOD ROCKS CONCERT!!

Last weekend was filled with music! I loved it. I love live shows, but I rarely find myself going to concerts.
On Thursday, August 28, a few of us girls wento to Cafe Du Nord in San Francisco. It was such a cute little venue/lounge. All dimmed in red lights with a bar and small restaurant that served good french fries! :) I had heard of Jason Reeves once before because he use to do a lot of music with Colbie Caillat. I enjoyed his songs a lot. Then it was time for Tyrone. Jenni and I ended up being in the front row. It was so much fun.
On Saturday, August 30th, my friend Shingo took me to the Slow Food Rocks concert in San Francisco. I have known Shingo for 13 years! It's so crazy, he use to be one of my Tae Kwon Do/Kickboxing teachers, but now we're wonderful friends! I was so glad he invited me to go. Medeski Martin and Wood played first. The band consists of one drummer, one bassist (he played both electric and stand up bass) and a keyboarder. (Is keyboarder a real word?) The music was amazing. I have never seen people get so into their music and their instrument! After them, The New Pornographers played. I didn't take any pictures of them, and actually didn't really listen because I was too busy eating lunch! Following them was Ozomatli. They are an awesome band that is latin influenced with a little bit of hip hop, pop, cumbea, etc. They put on such a neat show. Shingo and I ended up being in the first row and Shingo even got to shake a few of their hands as they headed into the crowd to do their last song! Finally, up last was Gnarls Barkley. I didn't stay for much of their performance, but from what I did see they did great. It was such a fun day.
I have such an appreciation for concerts. I can't wait to go to more!

Dinner With A Perfect Stranger

I meant to blog about this book when I finished it. It's wonderful. I suggest reading it! :) This book made me fall even more in love with Jesus and allowed me to understand more of His character!
